8(a) STARS
The GSA STARS contract allows agencies throughout the federal government to procure hardware, software and technology services using simplified procedures.

Hardware, software, related supplies and services may be procured as part of an information technology services-based solution.
- Pre-competed, easy to use contracts.
- Limited protestability in accordance with NDAA 2008.

8(a) STARS Features
- Multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.
- Three-year base with two, two-year option periods (June 2004 - June 2011).

Directed task orders up to $3.5 million each for federal civilian agencies are allowable pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5), 15 U.S.C. 637 and FAR 19.804-6.

Directed task orders up to $3.5 million each for Department of Defense activities are compliant with Section 803 of the 2002 National Defense Authorization Act 216.505-70(b)(1), and are allowable pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5), 15 U.S.C. 637 and FAR 19.804-6.

GSA Schedule 70: Information Technology Professional Services
Federal, state and local agencies can use PCMS’s GSA Schedule 70 to simplify acquisition of information technology hardware, software, and professional services. The GSA IT Schedule features fast, streamlined ordering procedures and the convenience of dealing directly with the PCMS. GSA Schedule 70 can be used by customers worldwide, and since there is no maximum order limitation, customers can use the Schedule to support large-scale multi-million dollar efforts. PCMS is proud to offer all of our technology services through our GSA Schedule 70.
